When someone asks if you can do something, and you’re not 100% sure you can, sometimes you just have to say ‘yes’ and see what happens. Such was the case when the team at Calle asked if we could shoot and edit a commercial for their newly-revamped street soccer brand that focused on the Favela, their debut piece of slip-on footwear.

Calle’s call-to-action is déjenos jugar: let us play. Not on turf or a field, but in the streets. Like a badass. One of minor league soccer’s rising stars, Albert Racca, flew up for two days to shoot with us all over the streets of Portland, and he blew our minds with his deft footwork.
