Our old friends at Stumptown Coffee Roasters make some of the best cold brewed coffee around, and they had the brilliant idea to bottle it and make it available in cafés, restaurants and bars across the nation. As part of the promotion for this new product, we were hired to make custom plaques and clocks and other signage that would be displayed in select locations. Modeled off of vintage Olympia Beer™ plaques, ours were made with the actual plastic animal heads from those plaques and custom laser engraved, hand painted placards, all mounted onto a lovely walnut wood. The clocks were inspired from the gold bottlecaps they use on the real bottles, and they a good reminder of what time it is. As for the “flowing” waterfall signs, hopefully those will be up here someday in the future.
