OMFGCO is an energetic, constantly-evolving, multidisciplinary branding and interior design studio, and we’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to create strategic, innovative, and meaningful executions for projects and campaigns.
This role reports directly to the Creative Director, and works collaboratively with the CD, ADs, other Designers, and Producers on all design and cross-media solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to conceptualize ideas, develop strategy, write copy, and execute design solutions.
- Make efforts to ensure that the team is working as a team, including the Producers and CDs.
- Translate concepts into brand messaging and final design assets.
- See ideas all the way through the creative process, from initial concept to final sign-off.
- Build decks, speak to the work, and present to clients eloquently.
- Mentor and guide designers in developing effective designs from concept to presentation to final delivery.
- Question effectiveness and challenge the status quo (i.e. if the existing copy isn’t working, rewrite it).
- Embrace Producers as creative partners and work with them to deliver work on time and on budget.
- Perform press-checks and review print-proofs when needed.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant design experience (design school not included)
- 3+ years of experience with brand design specifically
- An eye for detail and thorough follow-through with all design files
- Experience mentoring other designers
- Proficient with Adobe CC and Figma
- Strong skills in motion
- Ability to write copy and develop strategy
- Experience with web design
- Critical, conceptual, and collaborative thinking (and doing) skills
- Confidence in articulating concepts, presenting work, and nurturing relationships with team members and clients
- Precision deck-building skills
- A thirst to investigate, push the vision, and create inspiring concepts
- Communicates clearly, strategically, and diplomatically with team members and clients
- Works to improve everyday, and welcomes feedback from others
- Familiarity with common (and not-so-common) art supplies

This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position with full intent to hire. Must be available to work Pacific Time and from a remote work space.
We don’t have a specific salary posted for this role, but it will align with industry standards for Portland, OR. The package will also include many benefits on top of salary. Every offer we make is custom, based on skills and previous work experience.
