Popurrí is a new kind of food hall in San Isidro, Lima—a vibrant celebration of Peru’s world-class culinary culture and its place on the global stage. More than a collection of restaurants, it’s a living mosaic: a medley of flavors, textures, and experiences shaped by some of the city’s most visionary chefs.

We developed the full brand system—from strategy and naming to identity, signage, and expression. The name Popurrí (“mixture” in Spanish) became our north star, guiding a visual language of curved forms, mismatched details, and playful accents that mirror the eclecticism within. The primary mark carries a refined, modern sensibility, but we built in a set of counterbalances to keep the brand welcoming, dynamic, and human. A gestural, single-line illustration style and a custom hand-drawn font echo the artistry of the kitchen—loose, casual, artful—and balance the clean austerity of the logotype. A secondary mark, rendered in this same contour style, depicts a motif of stacked bowls, celebrating shared meals and the communal nature of the food hall. We also created a version of the logotype that scatters its letters loosely—eclectic but artfully composed, like a pan full of ingredients bustling together. Used on stickers, to-go bags, and tote bags, this treatment acts more like a graphic than a traditional logo, offering a humble yet confident counterpoint to the primary identity. Together, these variations ensured the brand never tipped into being too high-brow or elitist, instead striking a balance between sophistication and warmth. We extended this language into every corner of the experience: menus, packaging, digital touchpoints, and immersive wayfinding that orients guests while drawing them deeper into discovery. Expressive typography, abundant color, and layered spatial cues all work together to amplify the hall’s celebratory spirit. The result is a place that feels both curated and alive, refined yet approachable—a destination where tradition and innovation meet at the table, and every meal becomes part of Lima’s ongoing story as one of the world’s great gastronomic capitals.
